Today we are very proud to announce a landmark partnership with professional soccer club Sydney FC—a first-of-its-kind partnership in girls’ education in NSW.
Sydney FC will work closely with both the Ascham Junior and Senior School Football programs and provide dedicated Coach Development initiatives. It will further strengthen our Sports programs to challenge limits, foster ambition and encourage girls’ participation across all levels and aspects of the game.
Our Head of Sport, Ms Alex Butt, reflected on the significance of the partnership:
‘At Ascham, we believe in holistic sport development—nurturing technical skill alongside confidence, leadership and resilience. This partnership with Sydney FC allows us to provide a girl-specific Football pathway that honours the way girls learn and develop. It’s not just about performance; it’s about creating an environment where students feel empowered to grow, compete and thrive both on and off the pitch.’
With the momentum of women’s Football accelerating globally and the 2026 international spotlight on our region, this partnership positions Ascham students at the forefront of opportunity—building skill, belief and belonging through the world game, whether that be as a player, coach, sports scientist or industry leader.
