Location and facilities
Ascham is a single campus school, well-served by public transport and close to everything Sydney has to offer.
One campus for everything
Ascham is designed to accommodate all living and learning needs in a single, 5-hectare campus. From their earliest years to completing their HSC, boarding and day girls can call our Edgecliff campus home and be in easy reach of Sydney Harbour, Bondi Beach, buses, trains and ferries and Sydney’s wider social, arts and entertainment offerings.
Ascham occupies a prime position on New South Head Road, Edgecliff, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, close to Sydney Harbour, three kilometres from the CBD and five kilometres from coastal beaches. Ascham is well-served by all forms of public transport and is also within easy walking distance of Darling Point and Double Bay ferry wharves.

Trains
Edgecliff Station is on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra line and connects directly to Town Hall and Central Stations, for onward access across the wider Sydney region.

There is no parking in the school grounds. Paid parking is available at the Edgecliff Centre, opposite the School. There is also 2-hour street parking on Darling Point Road.
Private bus services
We have made a number of private bus services available to parents:
Cranbrook School operates services from the Inner West and North Shore, which pass by Ascham on the way to and from Cranbrook. The Inner West service starts at Hunters Hill and operates via the Cross City Tunnel. This service does not stop at Central or Forest Lodge. The North Shore service starts at Seaforth.
