We were thrilled to welcome author Melina Marchetta for our Books ‘n’ Breakfast in the Ascham Senior Library on 15 August. Melina is the author of many children’s and young adult novels, including her classic Looking for Alibrandi.

Melina captivated us with stories of how her personal experiences add authenticity to her stories, making them deeply resonate with readers and stand the test of time.

It was heartwarming to see so many parents and staff in the audience with our students, reminiscing about their own experiences of reading Melina’s books and seeing new generation of readers discover them.
