We warmly congratulate the 119 students of our Class of 2025 on their outstanding HSC results. The cohort stayed focused and worked hard. With the support of their dedicated teachers and Ascham’s unique educational framework, the Dalton Plan, their critical thinking, independence and resilience shone through. Thank you to Year 12 Coordinator Mr Henry Halley, our committed teachers and Heads of Department for their continued support of all our students.
Fourteen students made the All-round Achievers list, having achieved top Band marks (90% and above) in 10 or more of their units.
A further 17 students narrowly missed the All-round Achievers list, having achieved top Band results in eight or nine of their units.
Five students placed in the Top 20 in the State in six subjects:
- 1st in French Continuers
- 1st in Business Studies
- 2nd in French Continuers and 18th in Biology
- 9th in Economics
- 11th in Modern History
The bodies of work of five students made the final selection for ARTEXPRESS. Ten additional students were nominated.
For OnSTAGE, 24 students were nominated for their Individual and Group Performances.This represented almost 80% of the Ascham Drama cohort for the second year in a row; an outstanding result.
One student was selected to perform at the Encore concert at Sydney Opera House on 2 March 2026. Two more students were also nominated.
Ascham students were enrolled in 34 HSC courses.
- In nine of those courses—French Continuers, French Extension, Latin Continuers, German Continuers, German Extension, Chinese Extension, Music 1, Studies of Religion and Spanish Beginners—all Ascham students achieved marks in the top Band (above 90%).
- In 18 of those courses, all Ascham students achieved marks in the top two Bands (above 80%).
- In 626 out of the 640 examinations, the girls achieved marks of 70% or above.
