A Dalton High Tea

A special group of Junior School students gathered for the second-ever Howley High Tea this week. It was a delightful celebration of those who have gone above and beyond to demonstrate our Dalton Plan principles of Responsibility, Reflection, Independence and Collaboration. Each student invited had been specially nominated for consistently living these core values in their daily school life—recognition that goes even further than receiving a Dalton sticker.

It was a proud moment for Head of Junior School Ms Peta Howley, after which the high tea is named. Ms Howley spoke warmly about the dedication, maturity and kindness shown by this term’s honourees. She reminded everyone that the heart of the Dalton Plan lies in how we treat one another, approach our learning and rise to challenges with resilience and teamwork. The room was full of smiles and laughter as the students happily shared a spread of sweet treats, sipped juice with elegance (and a few giggles!) and celebrated their achievement together in true high-tea style.

Congratulations again to our Howley High Tea guests; it was a sincere pleasure to recognise your efforts. To each of our wonderful Junior School students: let this be your inspiration! Keep showing our Dalton values in all that you do.
