One hundred days—what a milestone! Congratulations to all the Kindergarten students on such a great start to what will be a lifelong love of learning as they journey through Ascham.
On Friday 29 July, Kindergarten celebrated their 100th Days of School. From start to finish, the day’s activities were all centred around 100. The girls were greeted at School with classrooms filled with streamers, balloons and certificates and a whole lot of excitement from their peers and teachers.
In the afternoon, we had some special parent helpers visit our classrooms to assist with the afternoon’s festivities. All girls participated in making crowns, racing to 100 using addition sums, practising skip counting with stars, Lego building challenges where they had to build a selected object in 100 seconds, and finally, getting to choose what they would spend 100 cents on!
The day ended with Kindergarten parading their beautiful crowns down to car line. Thank you to our wonderful parent helpers for their assistance with the afternoon’s activities.
The Kindergarten teachers are so proud of what the girls have achieved in their 100 days of learning and the girls should feel proud of all they have achieved so far too.
