Location and access

Ascham is situated on a single, 4-hectare campus on New South Head Road, Edgecliff, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

The School is in a prime location near Sydney Harbour, only 3.5 kilometres from the CBD and five kilometres from coastal beaches, including Bondi Beach.

Ascham is well-served by public transport and is also within easy walking distance of Darling Point and Double Bay ferry wharves.

Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra lines are at Edgecliff Station, opposite the School.

Car

There is no parking in the school grounds. Paid parking is available at the Edgecliff Centre, opposite the School. There is also 2-hour street parking on Darling Point Road.

Private bus services

We have made a number of private bus services available to parents:

Inner West and North Shore

Cranbrook School operates services from the Inner West and North Shore, which pass by Ascham on the way to and from Cranbrook. The Inner West service starts at Hunters Hill and operates via the Cross City Tunnel. This service does not stop at Central or Forest Lodge. The North Shore service starts at Seaforth.
