SchoolAid National Accreditation for Ascham

This week, Ascham had the honour of being presented with SchoolAid National Accreditation by the Patron of SchoolAid, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Her Excellency Mrs Hurley.

Alongside seven other schools from NSW and Queensland, Ascham was recognised for the way in which we support and empower young philanthropists.

Their Excellencies were very congratulatory in their individual presentations, commending each school on their role in inspiring ‘amazing Australians’. They also praised the students for their ‘big hearts’.

This accreditation is a wonderful recognition of the work our School does to demonstrate our School values within the wider community.

In addition, last month two of our students, Zara Dempsey (Year 7) and Anna Myers (Year 5), were each presented with the award of Outstanding Individual by the Governor-General, as part of the SchoolAid National Awards program. You can read that story on our website here.
