The Ascham Old Girls' Union (AOGU) was founded in 1899 by a handful of students of Headmistress and founder, Miss Marie Wallis. It now has a membership of close to 4,000 past students.

The AOGU encourages involvement of all past students and helps alumnae remain in contact with their classmates. Many reunions and social gatherings, newsletters and other publications help past Ascham to keep in touch with each other and school news.
