Hillingdon has always helped girls develop a life-long concern for others, their community and the environment.  Community awareness is a central part of the educational program and Hillingdon girls contribute to many charities. This includes sponsorship of a child through World Vision, Easter egg and Christmas gift collections for Barnardos children, sponsorship of a platypus at Taronga Zoo, tinned food for the homeless, Jeans for Genes Day and educational talks and collections for causes such as the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia, Deafness Awareness and the Royal Hospital for Women.
