Ascham’s Junior School (Years 3-6), Fiona, takes its name from the 1864 heritage-listed home which houses most of its classes. Fiona develops the skills its students need to become independent, confident learners, a key grounding for the Senior School. Core learning subjects rest on a foundation of skills.
Fiona provides a truly nurturing environment. Its students develop a life-long love of learning, strong friendships and a concerned and active interest in social issues and their local and broader communities. Fiona also has a program of extracurricular interests and activities.
Fiona has a student population of 250. It has its own Junior School Head, Mrs Elizabeth Neil and a staff of 27 full-time teachers including a deputy, aided by specialist teachers from the senior school.
