Fiona provides many opportunities for girls to develop leadership skills. Each term, girls in Years 5 and 6 vote for a committee group of three representatives from the three houses. Each class also has a term captain and vice-captain. This enables all girls to develop skills in both personal leadership and in sharing the role by actively supporting another who is leading.
Girls in Years 5 and 6 participate in leadership skills afternoons and the school has a variety of guest speakers to talk to students about leadership qualities, skills and opportunities. |
