Ascham girls heading to Eton Choral Course
08 Mar 2017
Each year Ascham selects two to four dedicated and talented musicians with a demonstrated interest in vocal and choral singing to attend the Eton Choral Course in the UK.
The Eton Choral Course is a week-long, residential summer course for singers aged 16–18 and provides intensive and fun training in singing and choral music. Held in the Ascham winter holidays at Eton College, near Windsor in England, this is a prestigious and demanding course and the girls who attend derive great musical and personal benefit. At Ascham, our Music program is extensive and we have a large number of choirs catering for Junior and Senior students with a wide range of abilities.
The girls selected to go to Eton this year are Victoria Adams, Poppy Thomson, Isabella Wilson and Julia Vincent Hull. We congratulate our students and look forward to hearing of their adventures when they return.
